Story Behind My Blog:

Well I started this blog a little over a week ago with the desire to share my experiences and thoughts in a more public forum than my old private Tumblr. In the coming weeks/months/year I am going through a lot of life changes- entering senior year of college, starting the whole “adult” thing (job search, first apartment etc.), going and living abroad over the summer, transitioning into a long-distance relationship with my boyfriend as he heads off to grad school, and so much more. I think this is an exciting, if not sometimes scary, time in my life and as an avid reader and writer I thought what better way to document this!

I chose the name “pensivepalindrome” because I want this blog to reflect my thoughts and my name, Hannah, is a palindrome meaning it can be spelled the same both directions.

Advice for Other Bloggers:

Although I have just started blogging here (and loving it so far I might add!) I have some experience in the blogging world on Tumblr as well. My advice is to write what you are passionate about and write what strikes your fancy- don’t try to hole yourself into one niche or idea of what a “good blog” should be. For me, I often come up with post ideas in the most random places and I like to jot down ideas in my phone so I don’t forget. While of course we all love followers and likes, I think blogging should come, as cheesy as it is, from the heart and be fun!

Who I Nominate:

I will leave a comment on your post nominating the next lovely 15 blogs for this award!

  1. Thank you so much for doing this. It was nice to know more about you, Hannah. I look forward to get along with your journey (virtually, of course). Have a nice time blogging! Don’t forget to smile!
